Knee Pain Special
Acupuncture for Simple Knee Pain due to sport injuries, sprains, strains, or arthritis.

How to prepare for your appointment:
Your initial appointment you will be asked:
-How long you’ve had the pain.
-What your pain score is on a scale of 0-10 (the highest pain level and lowest)
-How often during the day you have pain
-If the pain wakes you up at night.
-What drugs is any you are taking for pain, and how often.
-What activities if any you can no longer engage in, or are limited due to your knee pain.
Re-evaluation is only provided for those who follow the doctors advice and follow a course of treatment. Common recommendations is have acupuncture twice a week for 3 weeks, on your 6th visit there will be an re-evaluation. Re-evaluation have additional fees.
What not to do after acupuncture for knee pain:
Do not put ice on the joint, unless advise otherwise by the acupuncturist.
If you have chronic or severe pain do not exercise after acupuncture. You may be provided individual guidelines if the acupuncturist deems it appropriate.

We treat acupuncture for knee pain due to sport injuries, sprains, strains, and osteoarthritis.
You appointment for knee pain does not include consultation for any other condition, or other services: herbal medicine, nutritional pain management, ear acupressure, health coaching, infrared. It only includes acupuncture.
If you have question a separate appointment can be scheduled in person, or virtually to review your questions.
*Exclusions: This special fee is not applicable for complicated cases. Knee Pain complicated or due to spinal cord injury, recent surgery, or previous surgery, disability. Knee pain complicated or due to these conditions require an in-depth evaluation to deem if acupuncture is recommended, how much acupuncture is recommended (these patients require multiple treatments per week for a few week before re-evaluation). Fee for evaluation starts at $250.
